Earn Volunteer Hours

CURRENT options we offer for volunteer hours:

Attending A Seminar

2 hours for one seminar you attend. See upcoming/past seminars here.

Being a Student Speaker at a Seminar

10 hours for being a student speaker at a seminar (includes your individual work creating a slideshow for your presentation and presenting for ~10 minutes). This option requires you to communicate personally with HSHRF for further planning/organization. See details here.

Sending educational resources for HSHRF to share on the platform with two options:

5 hours per resource created.

Important notes:

  • Follow these directions to create your resource and send for hours!

  • We emphasize that HSHRF does not tolerate poor-quality or careless work. To be deserving of volunteer hours, you must meet all requirements and follow directions carefully.

  • Submissions created by those that are low quality, especially those generated entirely by AI and lacking meaningful content, will not be granted any volunteer hours.

  • Visit the resources page on our platform - hshrf.org/resources, to look at examples of the level of quality resources we accept and will grant volunteer hours for.

Volunteering With HSHRF: What we Offer

Claim volunteer hours for the work you do with us. Take a look at our offerings below, and where to request your hours.

How it Works:

  1. Pick your volunteering option (we also recommend that you become a HSHRF member to gain access to volunteer opportunities and become more involved)!

  2. Complete your task based on the instructions and send your verification (if you joined a seminar), or educational resource to hshealthresearchforum@gmail.com (details coming soon for the resources opportunity).

  3. Fill out the form at the bottom of this page requesting the hours you put in to be reviewed and signed by our team depending on your school’s requirements.

    • You must indicate what type of verification you require/need (e.g. certificate, signed form, or an email confirmation)

You must fill out the form below to receive your hours. Once your request through this form has been processed and reviewed by our team, we’ll send you the necessary information to confirm your service with us and update your service hours accordingly on our volunteer record.

Internal HSHRF Team Form

This is only for the HSHRF internal team. Please request hours through the following form for the work you did with us. You have 4 months to record your hours - any work you did beyond 4 months ago will not be considered for hours.

Once your request through this form has been processed and reviewed by our team, we’ll send you the necessary information to confirm your service with us and update your service hours accordingly on our volunteer record.
