the High School Health Research forum.

The High School Health Research Forum is a community of students who seek to explore and improve human health, often beginning with something as simple as a Google search or a question.

In 2024, after participating in a two-week program at JHU, we recognized that high school students across the world have innovative ideas and a deep enthusiasm for clinical research. Inspired by this experience, we reached out to like-minded peers and came together to establish HSHRF, a coalition dedicated to unifying students who share a passion for health and research, regardless of location.

A common misconception about research is that it requires institutional backing or a fully equipped lab. But in reality, some of the most important ways to get started is with a passion or an interest, and a plus: PubMed. After equipping a creative mind and a keyboard, type away!

Start your HSHRF journey by exploring the platform. Here, you will find the motivation to dive deeper into your research, receive valuable feedback from fellow students, and connect with high schoolers who share your interests. Learn about exciting projects through the HSHRF Expo, submit your work-in-progress research for peer editing, or collaborate to transform your ideas into real-world health solutions.

Enjoy the process of learning and creating alongside new friends. The journey is just as important as the destination. The forum is thrilled to welcome new members, all working together to shape the future of health through research. In solidarity through HSHRF, high school students can energize themselves and take their next steps into the world of health research.
