  • Mikayla "Miki" Chan

    CO-FOUNDER & PRESIDENT (WEST)

    Miki Chan is a student at Polytechnic School in Pasadena, California. She is interested in global health, ethics, and journalism. Her interest is, through research, to figure out how cultural factors during one’s developmental stage affects one’s risk for chronic illnesses. She swims competitively, plays water polo, and loves cafe hopping.

  • Juliette Carson

    CO-FOUNDER & PRESIDENT (EAST)

    Juliette Carson is a student at the High School for Math, Science, and Engineering in Manhattan, New York City. She is passionate about the intersection of technology like AI in the health field. In her free time, you can find her working on her coding or Arduino projects. Fun fact: She first developed her interest in health after her diagnosis of ME/CFS.

  • Kristen Lee

    CO-VICE PRESIDENT

    Kristen Lee is a student at Chattahoochee High School in Johns Creek, Georgia. She is passionate about medicine and research, particularly regarding infectious diseases and pathology. As part of her school’s Science Olympiad team, she loves competing in biology events and plays cello with her school’s orchestra.

    Poorna Prakash is a student at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology in Alexandria, Virginia. She is passionate about biomedical engineering and cancer research, and is an avid STEM advocate. In her free time, you can probably find her baking or watching Netflix.

    CO-FOUNDER & DIRECTOR OF ADMINISTRATION

    Rebecca Zhao is a student at North Allegheny Senior High School in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Her academic and research interests lie in the fields of neurological and forensic psychology. In her free time, she likes to paint, read, swim, listen to music, and hang out with friends.

  • Benjamin Oakland-Stubbs

    DIRECTOR OF ENGAGEMENT

    Ben is a student at the High School for Math, Science, and Engineering in Manhattan, New York City. As a driven student and a strong collaborator, he has founded and led his school’s frisbee team, has published work in an economic journal, and has been well-recognized for his Model United Nations achievements in out-of-state conferences. In his free time, he loves to read and go on hikes.

  • Victoria Sander

    CO-DIRECTOR OF EDUCATION

    Victoria Sander is a student at Donna Klein Jewish Academy in Boca Raton, Florida. She is interested in health policy and global health. She has conducted and published a literature review on breast cancer in Nairobi available in the Curieux Academic Journal and founded Pink Ribbons Nairobi to promote early detection for breast cancer in Kenya. She has served as a Page for both the North Carolina House of Representatives and the Florida State Senate. She also rows and plays the harp.

  • Feiyang Zhang

    CO-DIRECTOR OF EDUCATION

    Feiyang Zhang is a student at Midwood High School in Brooklyn, New York City. She has a strong interest in immunology, microbiology, and surgical science, and a specific passion for research and advocacy regarding literacy in underserved communities. She has been involved in various projects, including the HEART project, which aims to improve health literacy in developing countries such as Kenya, while also participating in lab work on stem cell studies.
